I have been working at Techahead for almost a decade and I can say I have enjoyed my stay here. From starting as a fresher to now being the lead, Techahead has given me immense opportunity for the years. Good work is always appreciated and there's no place for dirty politics.

Dislikes

Overall Techahead is good place, but obviously there's room for improvement.

I've reached a point where I can no longer overlook the glaring issues at Techahead Software. The promised salary increment, after months of persistent requests, was finally doled out as if the company was doing me a favor. It's infuriating to witness such a lack of acknowledgment for the hard work and dedication I've put into my role. The disconnect between senior and junior team members is not just palpable but actively detrimental. The toxic mix of office politics and back-biting has created an environment that is stifling, unproductive, and downright demoralizing. I've had enough. It's disheartening to see the complete disregard for basic professional courtesy and fairness. There's nothing to like about this company. Other than the location. I feel it's good for freshers as the organization have a lot of small projects on which freshers can learn on live project. I mean you can do live experiments on projects with your knowledge. But freshers have to sign a bond of two years which generally becomes 2.5years because of their policies. NONE OF THE PROJECT MANAGERS ARE TECHNICAL. GROWTH AND WORK LIFE BALANCE DOES'NT EXIST. Join any other organisation if you have any other offer at your disposal. People with more than 2-3 years of experience should never join this organization. If they are hiring you they will just use and throw you. You will get a project that's already been experimented upon by their junior developers and is completely in a pathetic state. You will have to work 12 hours and even on weekends( you will feel like majdoor) although they say we don't encourage working on weekends if you say you will not then the managers will report that to upper management and then after you are done with the project and they have received the funds from the client then you are done. They have a hire and fire policy. They won't provide you the time to upskill as you will be loaded with multiple projects with nothing new to learn. If they get to know that you are getting time to upskill, you will get one more project of your domain to work on. For some tech stacks the seniors don't have the required technical aptitude. They won't be able to help you if you are stuck at any problem and will rather ghost you. They will show you that we have this number of people but that won't do any help to you. If you are going to join this organization then always be in search of a better opportunity, keep upskilling yourself and be prepared for interviews. The project managers are the worst, they get incentives for the work that developers do and they will not let you handle the client rather they will do it themselves and will agree to any insane timeline that the client says for their incentives. They keep the buffer time for themselves which should be rather for the developers.
