I am a mechanical engineer and I am working in RA in healthcare, doing documentation. No growth in my domain. Not even management is letting me to change project. Worst company for Mechanical Engineer if they got recruited for Healthcare.

Employees here are not treated well enough. Small things such as not enough parking space and not good cafeteria service(such as not allowing people to get milk from coffee machine) shows how invaluable an employee is to the company. Talking about growth, there's not much of growth in the company, once you are hired, you might be put into some random project which may or may not utilize your skillset. The work there is also low level like testing and all as it is a Ties 2 company, so most of it's project's are related to testing. If not testing it would be to do documentation and you will be using excel and all, which is pretty useless. Hence we don't get an opportunity to grow. When I joined the company, they told that it would be work from home, but as soon as day 5 passed, they asked us to be there in office and showed how unvalued a fresher is by not even paying a penny for travel allowances or giving a place to stay. We were asked to just be there on time, nothing else, no help of any kind at all. Other companies to which my friends were hired to, received a certain amount for travel and stay. The company is still hiring or rather call it mass hiring, they don't even have that much of seating area for that number of employees, let alone parking space. The cafeteria gets crowded like hell during lunch time. For all the freshers I would not recommend you to join Tata Elxsi at all. The salary itself ain't justified for the city they are situated in, with this salary we should rather get work from home for the entirety of the job, you might also get discouraged to know that for the same level of experience/post someone else might be getting paid more than double of what you are getting. Overall, the experience wasn't worth it, you won't acquire new skill sets required for surviving the market as the company is working on old technology, you won't feel valued or being treated well.
