Officers are forced to work on most holidays and without paying the extra allowance they are entitled to. Transfers are sporadic and random and are executed without empathy towards employees. Management suffers from God complex.

Talking about the job security, yes, the security of job is there but as long as you comply with all instructions. Work couture is one of the worst, wherein the people are in modular and have no interpersonal connections. Further there is no compassion among the employees, this may be because of the bad culture. As the SBI has vast network that every corner you may find an office but you may not be able to connect there as an employee, particularly HO,RBO where in you may not be attended. Company policy is a waterfall model. The policy are formed centrally and the employee feedback doesn’t matter or is ignored many times. The bank is moving towards technology but people are left behind without proper training. A new system is introduced all a sudden without beta testing and mammoth of glitches which are not attended to. Again the policy are formulated so that management is safe and employee are vulnerable. Main issue is transfer policy which is always on a toss every year incurring huge loss to bank on transfer which is not accounted to by management.
