You will be able to draw tax free income of close to 6 lakhs a year if you are an officer by means of allowances and reimbursements HRA etc. SBI provides an opportunity to work for general public and one enjoys the social status and respect that comes along with it.

Dislikes

Attitude of top management towards employees is horrible. Transfers and postings are whimsical and no consideration is given to employees personal situation or his professional inclination towards a particular domain.
