The main focus of sbi employs is to some how fool customers to open maximum accounts .. sale maximum credit cards .and when any customer calls for some information then ignore his problem .. because the employee is under such a pressure that his main priority is to complete useless tasks like increase rating of his branch in openingmax accounts .. giving max loans etc. The employee life becomes terrible. It is good to join sbi initially to learn to handle pressure .. But if u r stuck there more then 8-9 years then your life will be full of miseries . Though there are various facilities for officers like travel allowances . Medical safety and other assets but availing it and smooth sanctioning is next to impossible .. and if you succeed in it then the pressure of work will built-up to complete the tasks later ..i had overall extremely poor experience working for 14 &1/2 years as branch manager and then Hr Manager .....Read More

The poor work culture ..all employees are frustrated and mostly starving for good environment. The intranet and web portals are non functional always and i think this is also a major cause that employee and customers both suffer. And it builds up work load, too much to handle .
