The people working in media sales at higher positions are very toxic and regressive. Internal growth of young people is a challenge as they dont promote anyone before 3 years and even after 3 years its not necessary.. you get promotions basis how much stake the channel holds in the company’s topline and not basis your performance. The appraisals are said to be transparent but its not like that and they make you feel like they are doing you a favor by giving appraisals, if you contest the appraisal then you are taken for a ride, and no one listens to you, I know someone who had acheieved 137% of their target and was given a rating of 4(5 being the lowest). Nothing great as all the pressure is on us to achieve the targets, however there is no/ hardly any support from programming/ marketing team as the channels in the network arent doing great
