Nothing to like about the place

All of them are charmers at the time of hiring but are big time scammers . They lie to you about the culture and organization . Very toxic culture. They have reviews at all bizzare timings and managers do not stand up for you in the meetings . Even a street dog gets treated better than people in review meetings

Nothing to like - worst kind of bullying you see at work place. The old timers dont want anyone coming in new to succeed and keep trying to trip you . The CEO is the worst bully you can meet in this lifetime - always critical of others .

UI team is not good, i work with Hyderabad team, the process and work culture very poor. struggling to get time sheet, some time funny part is 3-5days of UI work, need to follow up manager to provide a time sheet.

Higher management old school thinking and process, it is blocking me to always while coming up with new ideas.

old company with over 5000 employees and a brand name. Good for women mostly

Dislikes

Very few projects. Company is not growing as such. Toxic management who pushed workload on the employees. Minimal to no hikes. Mostly support projects with no scope of learning. Will not recommend this place if you are looking for full stack / backend development work.

50% salary deduction ,if you come out of the project. it is very difficult to get tagged to a project. Majority of the projects are short term project company is outside the city (Global Village tech park, Pattanagere), so travelling this long everyday is very difficult.

1. Never ever escalate to senior management even if the project is going out of your hand otherwise, you're out 2. Internal politics resource management group newcomers are first target by RMG group and will not allocate project because they are old in company, and they want only they allocate the people they know. 3. HR will support RMG not employee. 4. RMG is not efficient to understand your skill they don't even have proper communication they are just old in the company. 5. Below Average now , 3 years back is good now worrest management, work culture is not good.

Work culture is worrest, doing lot of politics managers and team leads , some team leaders continuously working same project. They are doing politics . Taking money for support monthly 25k to 30k from new joiners if they are not paid they are moving to Bench or raising PIP.

The new Business leads does not deserve to be here, I am in Sonata since last 7yrs, and never seen some like this person, always comes up with some story for not giving appraisal and promotions.

There are a few benefits like health insurance, learning new courses, and reimbursement. Those are good.

We were assigned to work in a client location, we didn't feel we were working in our company... once the client project stabilizes, we are released from them... back in the sonata bench, we don't get the other project/client. finally, HR asked us to resign from the job ...
