Hey, AB fam, PIP = Corporate death sentence. I was there too🥲—panicking, checking Naukri every 5 minutes, watching Bhagavad Gita reels at 2 AM. Priya Ma’am, my boss, had lost faith in me. Friends said, "Bro, PIP se promotion tak koi nahi jaata." But I refused to go down. My Survival Jugaad? Chai Pe Charcha – Timed my tea breaks with hers. "Ma’am, elaichi daalni chahiye thi." Next day? She agreed. Trst unlocked. In meetings, I nodded like a bobblehead. "Ma’am, truly visionary! Aap to corporate Rani Lakshmi Bai ho!" Smiles = Achieved.. Emotional Connect – She loved dogs. I updated my DP with one. "Ma’am, my dog wakes me up for meetings!" Bond = Secured.😉 The Final Jugaad – She looked stressed. "Ma’am, even Dhoni takes a break!" She smiled. Game over. I was offered an HR intern role and was very excited. I spent a significant amount of money in good faith, preparing to move to Bangalore. This included travel expenses, accommodation, and necessary device repairs to comply with the BYOD policy. However, just days before my joining date, they withdrew my offer citing budget constraints and claimed the HR team could do nothing about it. It's concerning that the HR team did not consider the budget before extending the offer, especially knowing I had already made my arrangements. I was extremely disappointed. After applying for refunds on my travel bookings and canceling everything, they called again to reconsider the offer. How can I trust them after such uncertainty? This kind of behavior is unethical and unprofessional, placing undue strain on freshers during their job search. I urge everyone to be cautious with this company. Despite my research, which revealed many bad reviews and negative feedback from past employees, I chose to overlook the red flags due to the trust I developed during interviews and communications with the HR team.
