Poor management. The director thinks he can terminate anyone without any reason, especially if his ego is hurt. No work-life balance; sometimes employees need to work until night and on weekends just because of unnecessary pressure created by the business development (BD) team. The BD team lacks technical knowledge but has connections that allow them to sell products. No discussions occur before appraisals, and there are no clearly defined key responsibility areas (KRAs).
