Nothing, only the office infrastructure is good. Else it is a very bad place to work.

Very bad organization with the worst management. Especially the managers like Tanai Sati and Pradeep Goyal think that they are the God of Rakuten. Although both of them have left Rakuten but they had made the lives of the employees under them very miserable. In Rakuten, a lot of office politics happen. The main demerit of working here is that they will do micromanagement and will ask for the update after every 5 minutes. Also, they will add you into hundreds of Viber groups and instead of sending mails or meeting invite, the managers will prefer to loop you in meetings/unnecessary calls directly and sometimes the meetings will go for 7,8 continuous hours. For the sake of some rupees, the management will expect you to do overtime daily and also they will do you to mandatory support weekends also. The employees will be considering themselves as the puppet of the Japanese higher management. Salary won't be processes on time here. Also, that manager named Tanai Sati (currently working in Ericsson as a TL), he used to schedule a call with his teams on a daily basis and then he would scold everyone in really unprofessional manner. He would ask everyone to show what work they did the whole day by sharing their screens. He would disrespect his own resources by scolding and demeaning in front of other teams in meetings. His manager Pradeep Goyal will encourage him in micromanagement. So, I will suggest everyone not to join this organization. It's not with only these mangers but the whole management is doing politics and ill mannered....Read More
