Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.

It's a fraud company.Nothing is worth that can be said good, especially the extremely loud and filthy speaking lady company director. And the MD avoids office at the time of giving salary.

It's less of an office . Basically a local club that is used by the heads for daily adda n entertainment.

Work Details

I had to literally beg for my due salary in the horrible 2 months I worked there. Think many times before anyone joins this fraud company for job.. Not a single day goes by when I have not seen a money lender sit for endless hours in the office .

My company is open to innovation readily adopts latest technology. i like the fact that i am a part of a team that markets reliable.high quality products and has a all India base. Another plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds, and we work happily in collaboration. like my team efforts & like team work... Thanks....

I have to work 11-12 hours straight in day as i have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night . which is a pain sometimes.
