Good compensation and facilities. Chances to learn and knowledge gain is also good.

Dislikes

Partner-based company but highly politicized and cutthroat behavior and filled with people who lie to profit at the expense of junior employees, especially Kolkata office. Toxic work culture, you have to be very cautious and on your toes to avoid being cornered.

Not anything anymore. People grow here only by networking. Work is overlooked. You need to have a ‘dada’ who can support you during moderation else you don’t get any growth. In the name of policies and all they can eat up your credit and demotivate you if you are trying to be innovative/ creative or outshine any of the dumb middle ma nagement people. However, having said these, there are still some good people but the number is pathetically less and PwC has been facing high numbers of talent attrition for the last few years because of too much of politics....Read More

The way they demotivate people. The policies. The quality of PwC degrading like anything. Specifically in Kolkata, there’s only politics and nothing else. They got mandatory 90 days notice period and they don’t pay the declared bonus which you are eligible to get on the same month of declarati on i.e. </mark>May, but they give it in Jun end. If you resign before Jun you lose on your money. They compensate people by giving bad ratings / not promoting if you miss on trainings where as their system intuition which keeps the track of training records is full of bugs and shows incomplete status for trainings even if those are conpleted. You need to ask for promotion / good ratings here. Yes that’s how this is. Your work / client appraisals are considered here to be default things to do and you get a 3 rating. Where as the guy / girl who spent more time having tea / coffee / snacks with the middle management layer grabs the 1 rating as well as the promotion. ;)) This is the fact....Read More
