Leaders are totally useless & inefficient when it comes to HR & admin Department. Shakir Iqbal, Pemanand, Karthi Palanikumar are pathetic employees and have no work ethics. Vikas Aggarwal - Director from the contingent Workforce management team is one the most incompetent leader I have seen. He regularly abuses his team & gives no growth. Should be fired immediately on compliance ground.

The likes and dislikes may vary based on the project you are in within each stream in PwC. I work in payments transformation in Advisory , here the work like balance is good and the team is supportive, for me.

Dislikes

We may work with teams in other regions such as US and UK. Sometimes it is difficult to bridge the work culture gap and may feel like a struggle to do so. Initial compensation discussions are a bit frustrating since the hr wont budge to your negotiations. Hence the salary wont be what is expected when moving companies.

When I was hired they confirmed me that the work will match my previous job role and structure, later I found that I need to compete with the CA's on Financial Services and statements. As a B.tech and Masters in Business Analytics it was not a cup of tea for me. Still I tried to my best , one day I visited my Senior Manager and asked her to put me to some desired project I explained the situation I mentioned above , I was shocked to know the same person interviewed me and with a Question mark on serious note she was telling me Aren't you from the Financial Background? I was shocked and stunned. Phase 2- I suddenly had a serious medical urgency with my dad , with a critical Spine Surgery, I took the WFH permission from my Leads and HRBP on the same, still with each day I was humiliated . I was completing my work after coming back from hospital from 8.30pm at night till 4am in the morning , instead of any Thanks or Appreciated mail I was getting a call from my Manager and she was claiming myself a Shit in work culture, I was not claiming any extra amount for my work . 1. There is enough potential for growth if you like to work in the offshore segment. 2. The salary is good. 3. Good experience if you want to move out of India in other AC's or Onshore teams. Although there have been less opportunity to move to the onshore team recently.

1. There is no concept of work life balance. There seems to be busy season all around the year specially in EUM and TMT Industry. 2. If your manager has a habbit of micromanagement then it is going to be very difficult to grow in your job. 3. Minimal to no client facing audit experience.

At PwC India, there won't go a day which will be dull with monotonous work. Learning at PwC is immense. You get to meet C-suite leaders and work closely with them.

Got Negative vibes Right from Induction Day. A previous batch Induction recording was played for 2 days. HR are not reachable from the start of joining date. Everything has to self learned from the start. Any person having 1/2 experience would find it very challenging to navigate during start of 3-4 months. Lacks transparency about the job role during interview causes real trouble. Please ask for clarity during interview itself. Regret leaving my previous company for this role in PWC. Managers are super supportive. You get the freedom to work on your ideas and articulate them to the client directly.

Dislikes

Salary hike is not good. Promotions depends on office politics rather than your skillsets. Sometimes if there is no project with your team then the entire resource cluster stays unproductive for months. Switching to other team is next to impossible.

i was a part of pcs florida market, the manager arun ramabhadran and associate pragati pragati have putted me into pip. with no reason. managers are pretending to be the owner of these company. no work life balance no work satisfaction no work management outdated softwares like vdi which works very slow no learning no growing cost cutting is on peak on firm no learning on taxation dept.
