There are some local politics, in spite of management address it. Even then compensation are good, but career growth is very slow.

I love my profession, struggled a lot at the beginning as there is no training given. I learnt and developed my knowledge with my own motivation. So that i can able to continue in this organisation for more than 10 years.

I like the colleagues the most. And hence almost the work culture. But the top management want to quantify everything at micro level makes is bothersome to work freely. They want fungible teams but asks questions when deliverables aren't met. It's not production pipeline, where everything is static and measurable.

Dislikes

Their management and micro management by them. Underpaying employee and asking for more and more work. They used to be liberal company.

Neat picking for every task and sizing. It seems every person, from PO/SM to team members are being accused for the roll overs and not sizing the story properly. It will only make people to put extra efforts in polishing charts, while actual amount of work will decrease. Sizing story is stressful. People won't speak up because they will appear as unable to size the story. Work life balance was good in pre-COVID era. Can't say if same thing holds true after work from home started. Work hours are flexible but eventually you will end up working more than you suppose to. Also meeting spanning through out the day will almost ensure the working hours. Never mind, as I said you will end up working even more than that. Hikes are ok. They will give attractive package to new hire while loyal employees earns less.
