The job has the same downsides as most customer support jobs, rolling schedules, 9 hour shifts, constant nagging about numbers each hour (though you can mostly just ignore the productivity metrics if you are performing with very high quality but at a slow pace). I liked the work culture at Pole To Win India Pvt. Ltd. The company policies were okay and the management was pretty good, I must say. As a gaming company, the clients are really cool and we sure have lot of opportunities on our way as goodies and also as in career growth.

Dislikes

The one thing I disliked and was terrified at was the job security. If you are on the base level of the pyramid, then there are causes for you to worry about your performance.

I was into one of the playing cards project, and worked there more then 1.5 years. But the hierarchy and they office culture was terrible. Only the good thing i can remember was that slow poison which was injected every months last working day(salary).

Employees are treated like school kids, the team lead was having more then 7 years of experience but he talks everyone like he’s ordering and making things done. We have to ask for leaves 7 day before we want that 1 day of leave and in case of emergency if our so called Team lead thinks is an emergency then he’ll approve it. When someone is in good books of our TL then he calls him bro but if you call him bro then he threatens you to escalate this to the higher management. Working in night shifts was already difficult and even after that in peak winters if someone sleeps then the only thing I can say is he’ll say everything except for a proficient word. When our project was ramping down due to managerial issues then I was forced to resign without any notice period. They forced me to resign on 12 jun and released me on 16 itself. Basically they were asking me to come to Bangalore and they will align me into another project which we dont know was into night shift or day shift. They asked the whole team to come to Bangalore just 6 days before and on the 7th day they asked people living in Rajasthan, North east, Bihar, Punjab, Delhi etc to come to Bangalore and stay here. Even I was a North Indian thats why I wasn’t given promotion because our TL made a group and they talk in south Indian languages and I was being cornered....Read More

1. There are so many wonderful things about working in this company. 2. My favorite is probably the flexibility I have with my hours. 3. I also love the company culture and enjoy working with every one. 4. A lot of employees love their jobs because it looks great on a resume and allows them to gain a lot of knowledge.

1. I dislike the authoritative leadership they have in place. 2. I have many good ideas and I tried to move them forward trying to help the company. But from my position I am not allowed to suggest any improvements. 3. I am supposed to follow the orders of my superior and that's it.
