Policies : For most corporates creating policies to govern employees in the organization is vital but here in Virtusa you are at the mercy of higher management and for firing an employee the management just need reason and that can even be comming late to a virtual meeting just once. If you ask the hr or anyone in higher managementthey will deny any wrong doing but trust me its 100 percent true Benefits : Guys trust me there are no benefits provided by the organization there are 1000 checks in place for simple internet bill reimbursements. I am not able to get reimbursement for any internet bill for the entire pa demic period. The insurance provider is ACKO so truste when i say this is the cheapest policy available which tties to give you the co fidence of a health cover but when the time comes ACKO will place tons of clauses for bill reimbursement.If you are getting a relocation amount be very clear about the approvals cause they will try to deny it if thats not given to you in writing. Managers: Try not to contradict your manager. Managers in Virtusa are old school and dont understand anything about a project they are here because of relationship with each other and not because of their abilities. Clients: The clients are even worse they will throw lame requirements at you and one you are on 80 percent on completion mark they will change the requirements. Job security: There is no job security in virtusa once you are on bench start counting the days as there is no one to who matches the skills of candidates to the projects. So once you have counted 60 days dude you are out of the organization without any intimation. Increments or Promotions : The only policybthat gets updated on a regular basis is appraisal and increment policy and trust me when i say this , the organization has not given any employee raise for the past 2.5 years (i am working for multiple projects for the whole 2.5 years duration) and without any increments.
