Toxic Work Environment

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. The projects on which I worked gave me a lot of knowledge about the technology as well as the project which was not related to the computer field. Seniors are always helpful.

Dislikes

Compensation is good but growth is slow. The company is still working on old age technologies whereas the latest versions of similar technology are running in the industry. Sometimes work pressure can be high.

Work Details

My work was to communicate with the client along with different teams regarding new requirements, bug fixing & software enhancements. In other projects, I had the opportunity to look after the company's in-house tools & maintenance work.

In my case, the growth is slow. the resource allocation system is not up to the mark, some employees get a chance to learn a lot in less time whereas some get not that much opportunity to learn new technologies. The new management is not that much co-operative.
