Only reason for which I liked this Company was that my salary was paid on time by them.

List is too long but I'll focus on main points which are: 1. They Work on Hire & Fire basis 2. They only value 2 types of employees: those who have been working for more than 3-4 years & who are hired on low-scale to save there cost. 3. There is no learning, only clerical work is to done>. 4. This job makes you doubt your capabilities but trust me it's not you it's them. 5. Seniors are damn rude and insecure for their position & work. 6. No matter whatever the problem is, according to then it's always your fault 7. There training is useless, they just try to finish 15 days training in just 3 days and then blame you for not being efficient enough....Read More

Apart from professionalism, I loved their humanitarian approach. I joined the company at the troubled time of covid, where jobs were limited for lawyers. I was ready to work even for the minimum. Instead of exploiting, they paid me more than I asked. Even, during second wave of covid, the management stood by us, and lifted targets for the time. It is hard to see these things in corporate culture. There was so much emphasis on learning here that your professional advancement is a certainty. We were provided abudant resources for learning. The only decent thing about this place is that you'll get your monthly salary on time. That's literally it.

1. You don't have to be a lawyer to work here. 2. Clerical job, monotonous work, no career growth, no learning experience. Most of all- NO JOB SECURITY. 3. You'll always be under the constant pressure to meet the irrational targets and expectations, and if you don't, you're fired :) 4. Internal politics 5. Very Professional, well defined processes and excellent training programme. A dedicated mentor helps one transition through the initial probation phase and throughout ones career cycle in Novus, there are ample opportunities for one to develop and hone their skills and rise in the Firm. During lean phase, time is invested in constructive activities and competency development. One of the best places to work where everyone is treated respectfully and recognised for their contributions in both tangible and intangible ways. Management is easily approachable. The facility is very well maintained and provides a very niche environment to work. One thing is that they are extremely focussed and particular about the quality of work and discipline which at times becomes overwhelming but to build a world class culture where one thrives to work, some element of discipline is paramount and I have nothing against that. During my career at Novus, I have learnt a lot. I had to leave after the birth of my child and am currently not working. However, if I ever plan to resume my professional career, my first choice would be to reconnect with Novus. There are at least 5-6 colleagues whom I know have re-joined the Firm after long breaks and the Firm has welcomed them. The only thing I disliked was the 6 days working week though at times we were not required to work Saturdays. One was never expected to work long hours and the expectation was just to complete 8 productive honest hours each day. Yet, a two day weekend would have created a better personal/professional balance.

Novus is one of the rare companies, where you are recognized for what you are. You will be appreciated by the top leadership for the value you bring to table. Document review is not an easy thing to do, it requires continues focus and rigor and has lot to offer. I have personally learned a lot at Novus and have become better at personal and professional level.
