1. For engineers, NICE is a great place to work in terms of the tech stack, and learning opportunities 2. For the product managers, there is a clear division of power between US/Israel (strategy) and India (tactics). It is an effective approach as Indian PMs are closer to engineering teams and US PMs are closer to the sales/customers. 3. High-level leadership (CEO and one level below) is very agile, business oriented with clear targets of business growth - you can review the NICE revenue statement and share price to validate this point. 5. 1. Salaries should not be your reason to join NICE as the salaries are not on par with the other product companies in Pune 2. No sufficient growth opportunities for non-engineering functions such as product management. 3. Not a remote work-friendly company pre-pandemic and I think they will eventually restore back the same positionas the pandemic situation is getting under control. This is especially true when you need to deal with Hinjewadi traffic. I am sure management has valid points relating to productivity and collaboration from their perspective. 4. Overall lack of ownership for India centre but the situation is improving as the India centre gains maturity. 5. Many disadvantages listed here are situational and may not be real issues for your role and aspirations. Micro management Incompetent lower and higher management. Managers are worse than service based company managers. No class. No work life balance - manager keeps the team working until 6 am for p3 bug. Promotion if you providing manager the gossip... No need to work for promotion. No job security - they force 1 person to resign each year from each team. Seniors/ products/ architects who should mentor team are too busy gossiping to actually guide the developer/ QAs. There HR team is good every year they organise one game for all employees and winner is getting a great gift.

Its a product base company but the management is from service base and they have made the company literally service base. No hike, no promotion if you licking therer feet thrn they will like you. And then you will get the hike and promotion.

No value for work. Since they dont have testing team, Developers are supposed to work as testers plus developer. No work satisfaction as you work as a tester most of the time. Bad in terms of work life balance, since most of the time you will find yourself working till 8-9 pm. No Salary benefits whatsoever and promotions are appreciation are kins of out of the box for these guys.

No work life balance, worst among all the companies I have worked. There are calls at 10 pm or 12 pm IST even though you work in general shift. No time left for yourself or family. Very high work pressure, they hire 1 engineer if there is requirement for 4.
