Depends on the manager and project. In small companies salaries will not be on time. Here we get salaries on time. Manager is approachable and we can get a good guidance from him whenever required. Depending on the project, we get opportunities to learn and explore more and gain knowledge and upskill ourselves.

Dislikes

No yearly hikes but they will telling that a new policy was introduced to give hikes based on performance and it can happen monthly also. But practically you will not get once in a year. No bonus. No gifts or sweets for festivals. The answer is, we want to save that budget and give something better for the employee in terms of financial aspects. There is no proper hike cycle. Appraisal reviews will happen but it is of no use. Variable pay will depend on company performance or targets achieved. So we will not get our variable inspite of our extra efforts. Timelines will be there for uploading goals but there won't be a time period for hike reviews. Till manager reviews, things will be fine, later there won't be any update. Everytime you ask manager, he says it will happen by next month and after few months it will be cancelled for the year. No proper pay for extra hours, it will be similar to labours. Example: if you have worked 4 hours extra twice then it will be equal to 8hrs and for that they will give 600 or 700 rupees. While joining only we must expect a good package. There is full of politics, the management is worse. They won't recognise your work. They will give hikes, perks to only who is close to them not based on work. Full of toxic culture. They won't worried even the critical resource is leaving the company. Hikes , benefits to only those who is close to manager. No recognition, no support from management. The human resource is not at all active. Everytime mistakes in salary. Please take this as a serious advise as I have worked for 8 months and would not recommend this organization for any working professional. The working time and the exit procedure and post exit assistance from the HR was not at all responsive as for my experience.
