Some teams have a good learning environment.

Dislikes

Do not ever join Corporate Workplace Technology department. It's headed by a fool and run by psychology ill leaders. They spend their time playing psycho games instead of working. Nobody in that department has any clue where this department is headed.

Technology, development areas was good.

Dislikes

Lots of micro management, politics, toxic work environment. Managers always love highlighting people(who are just stealing some other developer's hard work credit). this manager's higher management is also influencing him to do so. No respect to non officers post.

Love the USA culture working conditions and especially like the fact that opportunities are given to one and all Appreciations in the form of awards are highly motivating. Stays upto its brand name. Proud to be a Morgan Stanley family

Less of work life balance. Also professional judgements are done basis personal life experiences.

Dislikes

Too much beurocracy. Poor management who have no vision and do not understand what they are actually doing. Top down culture. Too much politics. If you are someone who really wants to do stuff, please stay away from this company.

Specific to my process, not sure about others 1. No support from managers 2. Although sufficient leaves are available but management creates issue in granting leaves. 3. No clarity related to growth/promotion. 4. Uncertainty of job in terms of layoffs. 5. No backfills/backups incase someone leaves the organization, have to work with limited resources.

Old senior employees exploiting new employees. HR supports office politics and no workplace ethics. No mandatory job rotation, which is causing people to stay with their loved ones and exploiting new comers. Senior management is playing blind & deaf role.

Office dress culture is relaxed. Hybrid work mode is good to have.

Dislikes

Poor job security and unfair appraisals and promotions. Coddling up to managers is required to get ahead and promoted. Kind of starting to become like TCS management. Tons of middle layer management in India.

1. Corporate Bullying by some superiors 2. Bad training by trainee 3. Abusive language by trainee 4. Seniors expect quick results from some analysts but not from others(unequal treatment) 5. Seniors egotistically complain to HR that I am attacking them with words although I am asking a doubt.(It is like they don’t know the answer tothe doubt; just turn it towards me) 6. No one was there to guide me to my desk on the starting day. I made calls to all the HRs (who had contacted me for the job) but no one answered. I somehow managed to get a number of a random person sitting in Bangalore who called the concerned person to get me. I had to wait for 1 hour in the lobby. My manager was supposed to escort me to the floor but he was on holiday. 7. The IT team told me that the work setup will be delivered at home before my starting day. But it got delivered 1 month after my starting day. I raised many queries in the meantime. But my other colleagues had got their setup before their start. 8. The HRs did not pick or return my call till my starting day. There was nothing to get my queries resolved. They hardly replied to my mails asking for a callback. 9. The HR asked twice for my credentials for background verification.(And the senior expects me, a fresher, to be perfect at my work at the onset) 10. 3 of the seniors always pressurised me to be perfect because I am a qualified professional but did not pressure other analysts who had same qualifications as me. One of them commented that I don’t look like I am interested in work and always on mobile even I wasn’t. I swear to God, I wasn’t on my mobile for more than 5 mins a day; but my colleagues used to constantly use mobile. Even though I was excited for work, the seniors demotivated me everytime. 11. The product that you would be working might feel boring because of its uninteresting nature. Also some teams in India are too overloaded with business deliveries, you might not get chance to learn new things.
