Its a 5 star Hotel that's it. I do general shift.

Dislikes

I work as a airport representative. It's 25 year old Resort so there are some old employees which basically runs the Hotel. I have told my problems to my managers but got no proper reply from them. Only thing I get to hear is that they are working on it and just needs signatures of authorities and now it's been 3 months.

They treat you like shitt. Management not care about staff. One thing they can do nicely is giving you warning letter for no reason and after 3-4 warning they told you please give resignation.

This no work life balance you have to work per day 14 hrs per day. You will not get weekly off only you will get 3-4 per month, but you are eligible for 06 per month, affect from extra leave policy the will not follow. This hotel only for who ever near to the the hotel good for them not for out of city or state. Very basic salary, Only entry level associate will get overtime, not for supervisor level....Read More

As we all know, the hotel industry is on a decline when it comes to retaining talent and Marriott is no exception. The industry norms are to blame for as the employees across globe are not paid well for the effort and number of hours that they put in at their workplace especially in a country like India.

At my place i dislike the thing is .there is only one kitchen. For all purpose, like restaurant, room dining, banquet .when it will busy it's get challenges to manage all thing together. Overall everything is satisfying
