The company provides training to employees at all levels on a regular basis. There are a lot of opportunities for career growth within the company. I worked in a department store like M&S for the first time so I got to learn a lot and it really helped me. Salaries in comparison to other brands are competitive at all levels. Employees receive bonuses (monthly and quarterly) when the store performs well and achieves the targets. The work environment is really good as the company has well-defined policies and procedures for all activities. The brand is innovative from its products to promotional activities and sales. Work-life balance can easily be maintained as all store-level employees get 2 days off every week. I dislike nothing about working at Marks & Spencer. It is one of the best brands in terms of work culture and job satisfaction and I am certainly considering joining the company again, once I finish my Postgraduation course.
