You can join Marketing team even as a fresher to the field. Gives opportunities and comparable salary. Join only if you have limitations of staying in Delhi & don’t have other options.

Sales team members are hard working but not intelligent, lack communication skills & confidence as under qualified people are hired at low salaries. Hence, execution is a challenge for scientific activities. Meetings generally go like shouting at sales team for not achieving targets or growth. Proper guidance and training is not given importance. Work life balance is okay. Some days you get free at 6pm. However, in marketing profile there is heavy travelling involved, about 10 days a month for. Field work and PMT meetings. Culture is somewhat bad and is transferred from top to bottom down the hierarchy. Gossiping, micro management and nit picking is normalised. Employees are not treated with equality and respect, such as manager is free to pass comments like appraisal ane wala hai yaad rakhna, salary bhi doosre employee ko dedun tumhari, why did you order coffee (during a meeting's going on from 8:30-6:00pm), chahra kyu utra hua hai tumhara?, muh kyu bana rakha hai?
