Very poor job satisfaction. The work mentioned during the interview and the one after joining are not similar. Feels like going back to jee coaching centre.. very strict environment. Everything is controlled by HQ. Here people just do few lines of bug fix or forward it to other teams🥲

Work culture has changed recently, HR asking employees to come to office 4 times a week at least. Although some team has relaxation but in future I think this would change. I'd love to see offi ial notica for allowing people to work remotely for those who don't have any office dependency

They exploit freshers on the basis of their need. If you are a fresher who is just starting your career, you will be frustrated by the office and it's politics. Here managers(senior ones) not the team leads,will hire you as an MRC or intern. They will give assurance from time to time that you'll get permanent job and will keep hanging you for years as an MRC. People who get comfortable stays here in the hope of getting full time job here. Even if work is not there you have to stay >=9 hours a day at office. They are removing wfh totally. Don't join if you are joining on contract if they are giving full time then best otherwise it will take two year to get permanent for you.

I started working in LG last may. and this review is just about my team, not a whole company. My team is good, especially because we have a technical manager who understands what challenges I go through. Recently my coding skills got better because of LSET coding tests they conduct, it is not mandatory, but if you clear it you get recognition and respect from higher management . Pay is also good compare to many other companies in my domain. Even though i have been here for just about eight months, they still considered me for appraisal. i was hoping for max 5% hike but to my surprise i got 20%. i was so happy , surprised and I had happy tears. I don't know if this is the normal hike they give or if they have given only this year. and if you have any new ideas, managers are open to listen to it, they will give time for POC, later they will review POC, if response is good, later you can work on it...Read More

Job security is good if you are on permanent payroll. Other than mobile division closure, I have not seen anyone loosing job during my 5 years of tenure. Cab facility is afforadble.

Dislikes

1. Indian managers dont rise to Korean managers. 2. Work quality in Validation department is below par with minimal to no learnings 3. Salary structure is poor 4. Due to bell curve appraisal system, salary hike is poor for most of the members
