This is the worst organisation i ever worked with in my entire career. Unrealistic expectations, Unsustainable automations, micro management, useless decks ans constant push culture. Trust be if you planning to join JPMC it is going to be your worst career move, that you are really going to regret.

Work life balance. Very repetitive work . One can manage and make a balance in personal and work stuff. Salary is good if you negotiate good at the time of joining. Later it becomes stagnant ( bonus is good )

Work , skill development , self growth is quite difficult as mostly old technologies are running since years . Senior monopoly. Very less scope for new comer to learn , implement new things , gives ideas and growth . Few people sitting since inception at senior level , they do not move resulting impacting your growth .

JPMC is one of the best employers. The work life Balance is good. Senior management is really great. Employee benefits are another one to be called out. Over all a great experience. I would love to work for this for this firm again.

Everything depends on your Manager. And all are so insecure that if they see you as a competition then they will turn your life upside down by misusing their power. Very Toxic, in the name of learning curve, they will put you in the harsh environment and there would be no room for errors. The thing I disliked was the interview for internal job postings. Whilst they do multiple interviews but they still open job requisition in accordance to the person they have in mind.

It has work life balance to some extent as it can be seen in some job profiles not all. They value their employees and constantly help them in growing technical skills.

Dislikes

Management people within the organization are not able to maintain JP Morgan true work culture policy which creates dissatisfaction and unrest among employees. Quality of work degrades as their criteria for promotion for all roles revolves around automation of process even in core finance role which is not right.

Most of the AVP and VPs are dumb. Managers showoff that they are superior and never approachable. But advise team members approachable. They hire as they like and don’t worry if anyone resigns and goes Pay is too less. 8% is avg hike. Even after 6-7 years your salary will be 10-11 lpa Office poltics, favoritism too much Better look for something else out.

Company is good. It has good policies for their employees. Providing decent salary, good bonus and other great perquisites. Employees transportation and insurance cost is borne by the company and not charged from employees. Every employee is covered not just under medical insurance but under term life insurance also.

Dislikes

1. No leave encashment policy. Balance leaves will be encashed only if you are leaving the company. 2. With respect to work life balance this company is not too good. 3. This company is not an HR oriented company. Meaning it is little bit difficult to approach HR. I am not much aware of whether HR is taking any sessions or interacting with operations employees to know the working situation.

The only growth possible is by submitting to your managers incompetence and lack of knowledge. If you don't do that, they will threaten you. If you are okay letting down your principals and just grinding to your boss's power play, this might just be the right gig for you. Politics for the win.
