My experience at Josh Software, particularly in the Bangalore office, was deeply disappointing. The company seems to have a trouble focus on laying off employees, especially in the Bangalore branch, while the Pune office enjoys all the perks. Its disheartening to see how the Bangalore team, despite working tirelessly, often for dayson end without even going home, is treated so poorly. The contrast in treatment is stark. Employees like Robby, Amit Singh, Manisha and Amit's family members, who were often seen doing little more than discussing personal issues, buying snacks and napping were treated with high standards of respect and were never held accountable for their lack off productivity. Meanwhile, those of us in Bangalore office, who put in countless hours off hard work, were abruptly laid-off without any valid reason. The management, especially HR, was a major letdown. When Manisha took over as HR, the office atmosphere took a nosedive. Before her, when Ruchi was handling HR, the work environment was smooth and manageable. But after Manisha's arrival, the office became toxic, with poor management decisions and lack of support for the employees. Many of us longed for the days when Ruchi was in charge, as the environment was much healthier and more conducive to productivity. Despite the toxic management, we tried to stay positive because we had good colleagues and enjoyed the projects we were working on. However, all the this was overshadowed by the negativity impact of having family members working together in the office, discussing personal issues loudly and creating an unprofessional environment. Gautam Rage, if you happen to read this, know that I write this with a heavy heart. I worked has for this company (to have projects not go from our companies hand) and yet I was get go without any justifiable reason. You can also say big companies also layoff their employees who worked for may years. Why are you complaining so much ?. Its not about the layoff. It was how bad and hurtful it was. The way the layoff was handled was cold and unprofessional. Manisha didn't even have a proper reason to layoff. The reason was literally this "you are a highly paid candidate and we can't pay you so much". I told them its alright mam you revise my salary. Her reply was today is your last day. Did she even discuss it with me. How did she raise this ? A employee should have the power to decide his/her last day. Did they even discuss it before hand about the layoff. Gautam this is nothing, more has happened. They took everything they had given me when I joined the company - the bag, coffee cup and even the water bottle. Bro seriously. I am not manipulating. They took everything Gautam. It was rude, cheap and left me feeling disrespected. Josh Software turned out to be a very bad episode in my life, one that took me a year to recover from both mentally and professionally. Josh have 2 offices in India and outside I worked at Josh Bangalore office. If you're a senior manager then they can provide you WFH.
1. Keep changing the policies and salary structure without informing the employees. 2. At the time of joining, HR tweek the salary structure by putting 2-3 lacs into the components which you will never get. 3. No work life balance. All their project are messy means they require you to work on weekends round the clock without giving any extra pay or comp offs. 4. Be ready to spend your own money when they send you onsite in India or outside. They give minimal cost like 10-15 thousands per month, in that you have to manage your accommodation, food, travel, laundry and other expenses. 5. They want you to take more and more responsibility but without giving any hike. 6. Policies are not same for all the employees. The employees are helpful. The Learning opportunities are good.
Strict office timing. Work life balance, be ready to work day and night round the clock. Be ready to pay for your expenses while working at client location. Josh keeps changing their policies from time to time. They stop paying you the variables or any other allowance they given in written in your offer letter. Top management is not that good. They assign you higher responsibility with lower pay.
