Lack of HR Policy, Unprofessional Work Environment & Job Insecurity. Rating :- 1/5 I worked at Jatia Steel Limited as an Assistant Manager - Electrical and my experience was disappointing to say the least. The company lacks a well-defined HR policy, which leads to unprofessional treatment of employees. One of the major concern is the absence of annual increments, which is a standard practice in most organizations. Furthermore, the promoter's approach to management is questionable. Instead of having a plant head oversee project activities, they deployed a driver to monitor the project. The driver who belongs to a specific community, seemed to hold more influence than the project head, which created an uncomfortable work environment. My experience suggests that the promotors have ill intention and tend to exploit employees' until they have fulfilled their assigned tasks. After that that employees are often mistreated and forced to quit the job. The company claims to have an HR department, but its ineffective. Job security is a significant concern in this organization. The promotors can take arbitrary action to force employees to quit, making it challenging to plan for the future. Overall I would not recommended to Jatia Steel Limited to anyone looking for stable and respectful work environment....Read More
