Work-life balance is non-existent, upper management couldn’t lead their way out of a paper bag, backstabbing is basically the company culture, and to top it off, this place is run by driver while engineers are treated like absolute shit.

Until January 2020 management of the company was very good, like very much employee centric. As company appointed new COO of the company in Feb 2020. He has taken some weird decision which affected the business of company. And the way he treats the employee is very harsh.

JP Research is a place where you can improve your skills in crash investigation and automotive safety systems and road infrastructure issue's. The salary scale is good for a fresher. The work environment is friendly and allows you to learn more new things.

Dislikes

Some times you have investige on spot cases. You may get to see injured vehicle occupants with open wounds. Personally I don't want to have this experience. Fortunately most of the time we inspect accident vehicle and scenes after two to there days.

Work Details

Its a very interesting job as a fresher. I inspect accident vehicles and check the working of safety systems. Then we simulate the accident using a software (PC Crash). Then the injury correlation and occupant kinematics and injury mechanism were analyze

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
