Dislikes

No employee engagement activities, promotions and appraisals are not up to the mark - only the seniors are highly paid here but the rest of the employees are heavily judged during the appraisal cycle. No KRA discussion - you will have to talk to them on your own to understand what exactly is your KRA and how much each KRA weighs.

The work culture here is good. Everyone is supportive and friendly, including the top management. You can give your inputs in the team meetings or in front of the leadership without any hesitation. All ideas are welcomed and acknowledged. The salary is always paid on time. The work here is very diverse and require not just technical skills but also logical thinking. Everyday you are challenged to think something fresh to make the current processes smoother....Read More

Dislikes

As most of us are working from home, there should be some more employee-employee arrangements made, to enjoy the time spent here at Iksula. Apart from this, team outings are something that doesn't happen. Some more engagement with other team members apart from everyday work is most welcomed.

Work Details

I work on projects and handle MIS. The projects are related to creating processes. It mainly involves understanding the problem and finding a solution to it. On the MIS front, I manage the reports and create new ones when required.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!
