Do not have bigger projects to work and learn. Work from home option is good here to maintain work life balance. Very less/no travel to onsite opportunities. Every year you have to learn something which may or may not your field but you don't get chance to work on it so efforts are invain.

Dislikes

Appraisals are not good. Growth in terms of technology is less if you are a hunger for work. You will work on POC but not on actual projects.

Company does not like Old Employees who served more than 3 Years unless back support. So, appraisals are not as expended. Of course, this trends are with all most all the IT Companies. HR is so conjective to provide the required resources to the Project is an big issue with Hitachi. But they are the boss for the Company....Read More

Organization is unable to get the projects and will leave you in pressure of losing the Job. Not getting the variable pay(50% or less) and no hikes from past 2-3 years. You will end up learning trending technologies but no work to do so no use.

Very good for college graduates - They provide training as well as encourage extra curricular activities. Team outings, annual day celebrations - encourages every kind of talent. Happening organization - Most of the occasions are celebrated, trainings keep happening, book review sessions, toast masters club, gym, sports, outings, team lunches, bring your kids to work - where you can get your kids to the floor and there are a lot of things planned for kids of every age group. Mandatory 5 hours login time - This means, if you have little work on a particular day, you may leave the office after 5 hours of your login time and get connected back at your home. Management - Unorganized, Unplanned, Unethical, Inconsiderate Job security - Even a 6 month old permanent employee could be terminated for a reason which is not based on the employee's performance Work environment - No body takes the responsibility of work as the management doesn't care enough Bonus - Not sure if you get it every quarter. Depends on the organisation's overall profits and reaching their targets. In my one year of tenure, bonus was skipped in two quarters Appraisal - Again not based on your performance. The organization's profits drive this. Work-life Balance - While offering the job, lot of benefits and flexibility is promised. The same doesn't work after you join. HR Department - They tell you non-existing benefits just to make you join, but nothing works and nobody cares about that once you join....Read More

Many things to say. 1) No Job security 2) No job satisfaction 3) No Projects 4) During appraisal period management blames the developers saying that why are you on bench. Its the responsibility of the marketing team to bring projects. But management targets developers.
