Everything... I experienced in this bank that it is just a group of politically minded people, and I never recommend joining HDFC Bank to anyone.... (Deputation, cross-sell with high pressure, office politics, HR with half knowledge, big task to take a leave, no work-life balance, no humility) worst job ever. I just resigned in 3 months after joining. HDFC IS WORKING ON LALA COMPANY METHODS. Remember never to join... 1. Office politics are high.... 2. Extreme pressure for cross-sell pressure (sale credit cards, FDs, UFDs, RDs, CA/SA opening, demat account opening), liability, and NAV pressure (personal loans, auto loans, home loans, business loans, etc.) 3. Extreme pressure for life insurance, general insurance, and health insurance. It does not matter if you are in operations (teller, teller authorizer, BOM, and WD) or sales; you have to do all the three things mentioned above at any cost. If you are not able to meet the targets, your boss (CH and BM) will harass you on a mental basis. If you are in Operations, you also have to face the deputation (working on another branch's staff chair who is on leave) type of thing many times, which is a very disturbing thing to accept. Sometimes it will happen in another city's branch also. HR is with half knowledge; if you make a call to ask something, he or she always replies, "Mark a mail to the concern department; this is not my field of work." Taking a leave is also a big task; BM also has a "BIG NO" to approve your leave. Work-life balance: Forget this thing because you are in HDFC Bank; you have to come by 8:45 AM (it doesn't matter; the bank start time is 9:30 AM), and going time is 8:30 PM because you must have taken a grant to go home from your BM, but he will instruct you on another work. (5:30 PM closing time is an illusion only) Having a great work pressure, all branches have so you will not be free at 5:30 (except you are in a newly opened branch). Conference call Zoom meetings and Google team meetings are also disturbing. In a new month starting, every staff member has to be active in all segments of cross-sell, and if you are unable to be active, then your backend coordinator will mark your mail till activation is done. Every day starts with a morning hurdle meeting. BM takes commitments from every staff member, and if you have not met the giving target by EOD, your CH and BM will taunt you. "Why do you give the commitment if you are not able to be done?" HDFC IS ONLY GOOD FOR CUSTOMERS, NOT FOR THE STAFF. IN SHORT, "NO WORK-LIFE BALANCE, NO MENTAL PEACE, NO MONEY ACCORDING TO YOUR WORK, NO HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT, NOT GOOD INCREMENT, ETC."
