Searching project is difficult inside HCL, since filtering criteria more , no HR communication and candidates are not in project always confused whom to reach/report

Depends completely on HR and RM. Worst company for freshers.

Dislikes

Freshers Please don't join in this company. They hire freshers to put on bench, no projects nothing. After one or two year, depending on rm's hr's mood they will terminate you without any reason. They will give just one week of time for the exist formalities. Joining formalities takes around 1-2 months.. Worst management.

HCL is a very good company for you if you have assigned with some project. It will provide you complete salary even though you are intern or in bench.

Dislikes

Mass layoffs in covid time they literally terminated 100s of people without showing any cause and they simply spoiled freshers careers without providing any technical training and without assigning any projects. Simply placed them on bench and terminated.

1. You get better job security, If you get out of one project all effort is made to put you back into some other project. 2. People are easy going, there is no kill be killed mindset.

Dislikes

1. Once you are in project, no one care damn about you. For company you are just a money making machine. Your manager and HR don't even know who you are. 2. There is no regular one-on-one with manager to discuss what's going right and what is not.

While joining as experienced, they provide good hike. Medical and dental checkup.

Dislikes

Too many. 1. He'll lot of politics within and outside team. 2. People are too slow to respond to queries related to HR things. 3. Made people to come back to office forcibly. 4. Very less hike in appraisals. 90 days Notice Period and they will hold ur salary for 1st month. 5. Horrible cafeteria food.

1. Legacy and work culture as an organization. 2. OLA's of Functions / departments in the backend mostly does not support customer expectations and SLA. 3. HCL transport.

Everything is worth in the organization. The environment, the culture along with the team and so on.

I got offer letter to join the organization on 11/07/2023. And I belong to a middle class family, that's why I have to support my family, financially too. However, on the 10tg of July, I got a mail that your joining date has been extended. Everyone in my family got shocked as I am on believe with the organization. I dropped a loads of mail to the HR and tried calling. But any of the method didn't work. Someone please suggest what to do as the organization has well known market worth along with the best in industry. But, they shouldn't have to do this with me. It is a good place to work as it's quite flexible with relatively less work load (however, that depends on the project) & also has good work life balance.

Dislikes

There is no satisfied salary hikes at all! So if you have had experience, you can come here & work as you'll be paid as per the previous salary but hikes are not at all satisfactory & also the appraisal.

The Job security that HCL provides is really good.

Dislikes

The hikes and appraisals, their stegnant behaviour about their employees development they don't want to spend money on employee's skill upgradation just want us to learn everything from documents and youtube. Take projects saying we have SME and experts available for this and then load their resources with responsibility without willing to accept an escalation. Policy wise employees are with no benefit as HR can change the policy as and when required so If a lot of people come and say that this is written in your policy and we want to avail this exception or facility, the policy changes....Read More
