Working at Fareportal was the worst professional experience of my life. The office culture is toxic, with zero regard for employees' well-being. The company's sole focus is on achieving targets, often through unethical means, such as pressuring employees to sell plane tickets or hotel bookings at exorbitant markups, particularly to vulnerable groups like senior citizens or those who are less tech-savvy. Selling a $100 ticket for $1000 is not uncommon, and this blatant exploitation is actively encouraged. Work-life balance does not exist here. The company demands extra hours almost daily and forces employees to work six days a week at least twice a month under false pretenses of unmet targets. They don’t care if you’re sick or hospitalized – meeting targets is the only thing that matters. Forget about promotions or skill development; you’re merely a cog in their machine, logging in to scam unsuspecting customers. The management is the worst part. A manager who went by the alias "Rob" epitomized the toxic environment. His behavior was outright abusive, constantly threatening employees with job loss if targets weren’t met. Complaining to HR is useless because they turn a blind eye to everything, protecting their own interests. His harassment drove me into depression, and there was no support from the company whatsoever. Yes, the salary and incentives can be decent, but they come at a huge moral and mental cost. Your earnings depend on how well you can manipulate and mislead people into paying outrageous prices. This is not a company for anyone who values ethics, personal well-being, or professional growth. Overall, my experience was horrible. I would give this company 0 out of 10 and never recommend it to anyone. It an amazing organisation to work with. You can get all the benefits like cabs and meals and medical cover. But if you are in sales then you will have targets and there will be pressure from the management to complete the target

They did not support me whatsoever. It wasn't only me but many more who were put on unpaid leave of absence since June'2020 just to get fired in Jan'21. There were hundreds of employees who were not lucky enough, they got fired on 1st April'20 despite working for 5-8 years for this organisation

This company used to be a great one but now it's a hub of favouritism. The management has changed drastically and now people who don't know any meaning of the word RESPECT are in charge. There is a man working as a Sr. Manager who can't speak in correct English for 2 good minutes. People who treat agents like trash canes are leadingthat company. Pathetic senior management, growth saturation, no fixed shifts, commute time is high, politics in call flow diversion and hence unreliable incentives.
