Ericsson as an organization has a good work life balance. The usual timing is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. if you come by office cab and you have a flexibility in terms of work hours as well. Many employees who travel by their own conveyance reach office even at 11 a.m. and there is no issue with that too. There is no HR system. It is the first organization that I have come across where even after working for 5 years, you won't know who your HR business partner was. They are only there for hiring and thereafter everything happens on a customer care line. They have a line managers who as it happens in most of the organizations favors their own people. Most of the managers are incompetent and do not have the right leadership and communication skill set and since they feel insecurity, they help each other by being in close network. So, if any employee (even a good/excellent performer) come in the bad book of one, you're career is finished. None of them will let you grow and you may get only 2-2.5% hike and that's it. First of all os Job Security. There is nothing like that. Whenever they don't get enough project, they will throw you out with just 20-25 days of notice period. I also faced this issue here.
