I worked on SME intern post for 2 months. Work stress was high and involved very deep knowledge of the subject and concepts one could never know. And team l lead constantly demands output and regularity which is severely hard to maintain.

Created a very positive and friendly vibe during the initial few days

1. Poor management. Sets targets that are humanely impossible to achieve. 2. Project managers are not accustomed with the subject , thus have almost zero idea about the difficulty level of the topics. According to them, a half page sum and a four-page long sum should take equal time. 3. Never pays the salary that was promised. Always gives the excuse of 'not meeting the target' for deductions. 4. Toxic Work Environment

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. HR couldn’t help, and the stress is affecting my mental health. Should I stay or resign? Will leaving early harm my career? If I stay, how can I manage this .without losing my peace?

Chance to learn new subjects and develop very strong core theoretical concepts.

You will be getting very less time to get accustomed to the respective subjects you are assigned with. For example, I was given to solve the problems of statistical thermodynamics of which I didn't have any idea and I was told to solve the problem of chapter 10 on the very first day which I couldn't. Hence if you don't know about the subject previously you won't be able to fulfill the targets.
