Preach work-life balance but expect you to work above and beyond. Tons of people who were high-performers were laid off while others who worked half as hard managed to stay.

Job security- None, there is no job security in this firm at all. They over hire without knowing their pipeline and start laying off people even with little financial uncertainty. Work Culture- You have to be a part of some group and then only you will get projects which they call as socialization. If you are not, forget about projects. There resource managers are unreachable and you keep on begging for projects. Management- The management talks about big plans & employee welfare like work-life balance. But, when you start working you get to know the hard reality. For a little better salary than competitors, employees are expected to work 15 hrs/ day and management talks about not working more than 9 hrs/day. Management is always dreaming. Everything expect salary. Whats the use of that salary which they promise and can't pay as they start laying off people. They should learn from TCS, Infosys etc how to treat their employees.

I have worked for both Big and small consulting companies. Deloitte was the worst experience. I wish I had not joined Deloitte.
