The people I've worked with and the reporting managers I've had have been absolutely wonderful people. Incredibly kind, caring, understanding and supportive. It isn't so difficult to get leaves. You get 6 casual leaves, 18 earned leaves (1.5 per month), and 12 sick leaves (1 per month). No questions if you're unwell - they grant sick leaves without any hassle.
