I liked that I came out alive.

Dislikes

Its a 'Lala' company, no work culture, everything is done on ad-hoc basis. Late night working hours which lead to heath issues. CGI is least bothered about your well being, they will even pull you out of your death bed for there work. Employees are used till CGI feels they are needed & then will make a plot to throw them out. Full politics, its doesn't have a conducive environment for honest, hardworking person. Managers are incompetent....Read More

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. My immediate reporting manager tried to extend my notice period without my awareness, just because of client request. Later escalated this to HR and sorted. Not sure about other projects, in my project - Hike and Promotion is not based on performance or fullfilling our goal setting.

Work life balance is good. Team-mates are collaborative and supportive. They provide health insurance up to 4 lakhs for the employee and his/her family. They also have option to top-up the insurance with additional premium. They also have option to add parents in the health insurance.

Dislikes

I was assigned to a bad project where my skill-set was not aligned. In the project they were neither using Spring nor Angular / React. They were using some legacy UI tool called Liss-tool.
