I joined CESS in its initial stage of development. Since then scientists and other staffs were recruited. Number of Divisions such as Geosciences Division, Marine Sciences Division, Resource Analysis Division etc. were started. A large number of projects of multidisiplinary research were taken up and executed and over a period of time it has grown up as a leading research institute. I retired from CESS on 30th April 2010. Consequent on the taking over of CESS by the Government of India, its recruitments were made on an All India basis and a number of scientists from different parts of the country are working there.
