It was good working experience. The Management were supportive and open to new ideas. The teammates were good and support each other. However there is need a lot for improvement in policies, work culture, skill development and learning.

Dislikes

The CEO and EDs come from different Banks and their left over service also very low. They try to implement their own Bank Bank culture and policies. That is why the Bank does not keep pace to co-up with the new challenges.

Jobe was interesting. I got lot of opportunities to work in different capacities cultures and states. Overall it was satisfying

I was lucky to have joined Central Bank of India, a bank born out of freedom struggle and first swadeshi bank.I got so many oppurtunities to touch upon and improve the quality of life of so many families and contributed to development of business, industrial units.

Work Details

It was mostly challenging, but the management was always supportive. Staff and colleagues who initially were hesitant or unsupportive, fell in line and cooperated once they realised what changes they can bring out in the lives of people.

Nothing to like. Extremely unprofessional bank. Full of lazy people. No professional satisfaction. 90% donkey work. And 5-6 verbal fights daily with customers. Extreme staff shortage in every branch. Managers has do clerical work most of the time due to staff shortage.

You will deteriorate your professionalism, communication skills as there are only verbal fights with customers daily.

Clerical staff is very supportive and helpful. They work with very refreshing environment and treat everyone good.

Very stubborn and egoistic maner level staff. They only care about their targets and not customer service. Often managers harrase and insult staff of they don't complete the targets.

All Branch Staff Are Very Good And Supportive. When I’m Get This Job I Don’t Know About How To Work, Totally A Fresher, Who Don’t Have Any Ideas About Banking Institutions. But My Branch Staff My Branch Manager Was Amazing. They Just Literally Helped Me A Lot.

Especially it has lot of improvement scope in HR and infrastructure. Placing of Manpower as per background/skill is important. Eg an exsm clerk would give far more business output in branches near defence area rather thn posting at othr branches.
