They provide amazing breakfast at 8:30 in the morning. Then, a huge mug full of coffee/tea/green tea at 11. Tasty, healthy lunch with a ton of variety provided at 1. Snacks and beverage again at 3. Everyone clocks in at 8:30 and leaves at sharp 5:00. Trust me, regardless of how little you eat, you feel full most of the time because of the meals provided at short intervals and will definitely put on some weight. About the work, I could experience and see the real govt-corporate mix life. During my period as an intern I wasn't paid. Regardless, I was there for a short period of time so I can't say for sure if others don't get paid as well. There was just another intern in some department that I could never meet....Read More

Dislikes

They don't really try to involve you in the work. I was lucky to have a great supervisor but the rest of the department was quite bad. Even the younger employees don't try to mingle as much. Also my department gave off a very school type of vibe. The GL of that department would walk around every one hour looking into everyone's monitor screens like seeing if they are working or not (Legit would enter every room in that department). Didn't like it. Very nosy employees too and a lot of politics so tread lightly, despite being an intern as you might offend people easily and unknowingly. Rest all was very chill. I would sit and stare at some simulation that I barely worked on all day long. I wasn't assigned any other work and was given a company laptop with no connection to the internet so basically useless. I would work on my project at home with my laptop and upload it. Use my mobile data to download the simulation and pretend to work on it. I had asked my supervisor and colleagues multiple times for logging into the network but yeah, they never did. With your time spent there relax, enjoy, roam around and explore the campus.
