1) Work life balance at Viscadia has it's own periods of peaks and troughs, such is the nature of consulting, but it is a lot better than other consulting firms

I like the highly collaborative team culture. Practice of whiteboarding, brainstorms and solving problems by first principles ensures you get a deep understanding of the business problem at hand. Managers are invested in the personal development of every person joining the team. The work itself involves a lot of complex problem solving. On a day to day basis I am responsible for managing 5-8 people across 2-3 client engagements, which involves providing ongoing strategic and analytics consulting support to senior client stakeholders.

Likes

Direct engagement with clients right off the bat, being involved in multiple decisions directly affecting client's strategies is something that happens in almost all projects. Work life balance is better than most boutique's out there. The ability to bring change in a way you like, which resonates with management/ leadership is possible given small nature of the company.

Dislikes

Not many to be honest. Processes can be improved a bit further (which can be said for any boutique consulting firm), although Viscadia has come a long way already, and continue to work towards building adequate training and learning programs, and HR/ accounting processes.

Excellent team culture, the whole team is like a family. Management is open to listening and implementing new ideas. Work-life balance is a big plus. You have complete ownership on work, which helps in learning so much.

Work culture is great, company is focused on investing in employee growth and wellness. No politics and all policies are employee friendly
