High skilled engineers who stay long at Bosch will have lower salary compared to laterals who have lower skills. No salary correction culture exists at Bosch. So, engineers should go out and rejoin at higher salary if they need to have better salary.
Engineering work is very good. But there is hectic process and overheads make the whole system sluggish and frustrating for engineers. Support system like purchase, logistics, finance, HR does not coordinate well to become agile and productive.

The organization is a great place to work if you are a youngster and learning new technology. Access to the German colleagues and resources is priceless. The work pressure is low and this is among the only companies I have been to where it's OK to learn instead of running behind deliveries.
The organization is deeply political and is controlled by a few who have been in it for many years. There is no scope for negotiation or constructive feedback, especially when decisions concern you. While it's a learning org, delivery focus is very poor, in many cases, fully missing. If you are a person of morale, this would get you! HR policies are mediocre.
