The only thing that I can think of is I was getting to understand the fundamentals of certain crypto and web3 projects very closely.

I had quite a rough time during my short stint in this company. So here are some of my experiences in bullet points. 👉Toxic work space 👉Managers and editors are totally exploitative 👉Clueless management, that nither will let you take the initiative neither would they and ultimately make u the scapegoat once the s*it gets real. 👉I have legit seen my editor being critical of my work and on the another call getting all the appreciation for the same work from CEO. There are several other incidents. 👉 Favouritism, this atleast in the content team runs very deep. I have had quite a funny experience (now when I look in retrospect than a traumatic one) 👉 The team spirit, having each others back etc are the frequent words that would be flaoted around in every call, in reality everyone particularly managerial and the editorial department will tend to sabotage their co-workers just to get some brownie points from the CEO. 👉 And Yes did I mention the CEO needs a regular ego massage from the employees and my god how phenomenal were my manger an editor at this job. Imagine being oblivion to the common terms like metamask wallet, contract address etc and still managing to secure their job at a Crypto marketing firm as a Manager and Editor of the content team. This was my first job and one important lesson that I learnt from it is Always know who your boss gonna be before taking up any role. They can propel your career trajectory or can wreck havoc on your mental peace. That was my rant. Now go and look for some better opportunity, there are tons of them waiting to be grabbed. My internal transfer took too long but other than that I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn and put in hard work. I did not get my own laptop and if they provided it would be 5/5

- So many times my blame was taken by manager which I never saw anywhere else - Manager is understanding and team bonding in marketing is very strong - Got promoted junior to exec which I liked that company saw and rewarded - WFH and flexible location is good. I work from Goa also many times

- Learning can be faster with more recognition - Top management needs to look into daily hard work of executives more - more paid vacations. - Sometimes company is too ambitious and forgets roots - training and knowledge transfer during joining can be improved. had to learn asking questions from manager

Unlimited incentives. Flexibility to pitch like I want on sales calls. Good company culture. Company goa trip was really good.

Dislikes

Lot of data to be recorded of every sales call becomes difficult sometimes and hope management takes note of this. Sales team reports to top management who should spend more time listening to concerns and queries.

Got free training by manager on UI/UX. Very good team and good room to learn. I also liked offsite idea in Goa. Working remotely cannot see the team but good to see everyone. Hope to get more such offsites. Industry is also very different and room to grow quickly. When I joined I was not sure about the company and if I can learn designing in crypto world. But thanks to good manager I thank lucky stars. I leave the company only because of health reasons but will recommend to any young designer specially....Read More

Design team should be given laptop. My personal laptop was slow and it gets difficult to wait for large files and also slow internet. So my humble request to management is to give laptop. Other than that also more offsite and meeting options for team.

Great people, at least when I was there. Don't know about now.

Dislikes

Zero job security, especially if you are a medium to high cost resource. Hiring and firing happens on whims of CEO and politics of managers. No management presence, leave alone being helpful, with work but will scrutinize results even when they themselves don't know what is and isn't. Wouldn't recommend joining at any position, especially when you can be laid off within weeks of starting.
