There's nothing impressive about this company. The fact some reviews highlight timely salary payments as a positive is overrated. A punctual paycheck is just a basic expectation and doesn't compensate for the company's overall shortcoming

"Blenheim Chalcot is the undesirable offspring of a modern exploitative company and the East India Company, merging today's greed with old-world exploitation" Here's a critical take on the Company: - They'll hire you with a title like "Junior Data Scientist" but then pile on task that have nothing to do with your actual job description. - Channeling the spirit of the old East India Company, a select few exploit their colleagues, and if you voice concerns to management about you work scope, their response is dismissive, suggesting you leave because this the only work they have. - They hire data science leads who are shockingly inexperienced and fundamentally clueless about requirement gathering and problem-solving. Yet, when a junior question their flawed ideas or points out their inadequacies, these leads erupt in a dramatic display of wounded pride and ego. - Complaints made through skip-level meetings achieve little, as the company is content to tolerate problematic managers/leads as long as their goals are met. Employee may even face threats of poor reviews if they try to switch portfolios, ai it could reflect poorly on the leads themselves. - HR is unlikely to offer genuine support: expect either empty promises or outright disregard. Many competent HR staff have been pushed out due to internal politics. - The company might pressure you into "voluntary resignation" under the pretense of performance issues. One week, you might be lauded as the star performer, only to be dismissed the next week, no job security even if you are a dedicated employee. - Salary increases and/or promotion seem to reward sycophancy rather than actual performance. The good things about this place - Salary comes on time. Work life balance is great but due to a negative reason - there isn't much work to do in the first place, people are on bench for months at stretch. Some of your peers are smart and help you learn, but politics may stop this as people try to one up eachother.

Dislikes

1. Complete lack of structure - they are hiring at large scale without having any structure or processes in place. No onboarding, no process introduction, no expectation setting in a timely manner - many crucial things just don't exist. When the system (or lack of it) fails, the blame falls on people and they become scapegoats. 2. Lack of managers- what happens when 90+ fresh graduates are reporting to a single person, who is a first time manager? You guessed it - chaos. There are not enough managers and it cases tonnes of unresolved issues. 3. Since there are no processes, people can twist the situations as they want. Eg. No response from manager means you have to assume leave has been denied. 4. There is zero onboarding for new joiners and absolutely no support provided in early days. It's acceptable if the managers don't respond to your queries, but not if your work gets affected due to this. The impact of this on people's performance is obviously largely negative. 5. Some times, people don't get projects for months at stretch and being on the bench for a long time might not be a happy place for everyone. 6. A complete lack of culture as 99% of the workforce has been recently hired. People with unacceptable behaviours are tolerated because they keep pleasing the bosses and clients, but treat others like shit. 7. Remote work policies are extremely biased. Some folks are allowed to work remotely, but their reporting team has to strictly work from office, irrespective of circumstances or emergencies. 8. If you decide work here, keep applying to other jobs - because you will never know when you will lose your job. Worst thing about this place - terrible, terrible in terms of job security. Most important advice: If you are letting go of other job offer for this company - we urge you to reconsider - a stable, organized workplace is much better. There is no job security in this place, so take time and decide wisely....Read More

Apart from that, only perks if you’re not working for customer service, you can roam around if you’re bored and spend time on terrace. The ambience is good and management is good if you’re good to them.

Your approved leave can turn to Loss of pay only because of MANAGER’S CONFUSION, and they call them “people’s manager”. No one is yours if you happen to do something wrong as I said you need to be someone’s favourite. No speech on work life balance, you’re asked to work over time if there’s backlog and if you for some reason do not want to do overtime, they mark you down on your score card as you do not come ahead to support team....Read More

Don't fall under positive review on LinkedIn; those are paid reviews that this organization is giving 1000₹ for the video. Don't trust your HR manager or recruiter. 90% of them are providing false information while joining the organization. They will tell you we will give or we have hybrid work or work remotely, but once you sign the joining letter, they directly say you either came to the office regularly or left the organization. One thing I want to highlight is that you should read the joining letter properly because there are many hidden clauses mentioned, but HR never told you or just denied that on call.
