In Blenheim chalcot, I learned a very important lesson of my life that “Life is not fair”

Management acts like they care about their employees well-being and everyone is so woke but when it comes to action they dont do anything for you other than timely salary. They will call you each day to the office and count 9 hours for some employees and on the other hand some employees get permanenent wfh with better salary than you cause they are good with some managers and they go on a dinner date, partying with their manager and you dont do that cause your principles come in your way and even you ask for one day wfh cause you had an accident then they tell you they have stopped giving wfh policy but remember “for you” is silent. And you will feel nostalgic here about your school cause their sitting arrangement is like that only. Everyday you have to look for your place for 20 30 mins going here and there with your system and bag cause no fixed places here and the new HR thinks she is the smartest person in this world, she acts like typical know it all person who has solution for every problem even if there is no problem she will create one to solve just to show her boss what a productive day she had at the office today. Lay off can happen anytime because ceo has lost his mind. He is hiring people non stop just to show off that he has the count like other big mncs. Many people don’t even have a constant project. So lay off can happen anytime Worst decision of my life. Too much politics and traveling daily for 3 hours has ruined my mental health. Truly life is unfair. I like how they try to be cool but aren't.

Firstly you will like the environment & you will survive if you don't speak up. There no corporate culture here, its like a close friends running the whole business. One thing about the company is ANY THING CAN HAPPEN ANY TIME. Be ready to get laid off, be ready to see your junior becoming your senior. They all listen to you but then you will be targeted. NO BONUS, I mean 5% increament? Are u serious? And the FAVOURITISM, OMG its in the DNA here everybody who is important is a known of other important person. There no criteria of hard work only CONTACTS work here. People who really wants a change are replaced East India co. as we call it. They don't give bonus/ increment to employees but replace them with someone new with a hike. People just leave this organisation in 6 to 1 year max. 1) The monthly salary is way too little. Get ready to be underpaid if you want to work here. 2) Office is full of politics. Get ready to deal with lot of office politics. 3) No job security. You could be terminated without any genuine reason of yours. 4) Your line manager will force you to report for office everyday. There is no concept of hybrid work here.

A few people who are new in organization and have come from good one, hence are professional. The tenured one are too rigid and old school.

Dislikes

There is definitely no job security, no matter at what level you are. No flexibility for work from home, even if you die. Leaders do not have clear vision hence always confused. You can only survive if you shut your mouth and close your eyes and say Yes to Mr CEO, (who is too moody that his reportees are always scared to talk to him).

Toxic culture, unapproachable management, no logics from managers, unstructured portfolios. Lack of automation within the process. Your opinion and suggestions doesn't matter. No security of job. Unplanned lay offs. You get paid for working in two or multiple roles in one roles salary. No open forum to have complaints or resolutions. No refrral system works out even if you send 50 referrals.

There's nothing impressive about this company. The fact some reviews highlight timely salary payments as a positive is overrated. A punctual paycheck is just a basic expectation and doesn't compensate for the company's overall shortcoming

"Blenheim Chalcot is the undesirable offspring of a modern exploitative company and the East India Company, merging today's greed with old-world exploitation" Here's a critical take on the Company: - They'll hire you with a title like "Junior Data Scientist" but then pile on task that have nothing to do with your actual job description. - Channeling the spirit of the old East India Company, a select few exploit their colleagues, and if you voice concerns to management about you work scope, their response is dismissive, suggesting you leave because this the only work they have. - They hire data science leads who are shockingly inexperienced and fundamentally clueless about requirement gathering and problem-solving. Yet, when a junior question their flawed ideas or points out their inadequacies, these leads erupt in a dramatic display of wounded pride and ego. - Complaints made through skip-level meetings achieve little, as the company is content to tolerate problematic managers/leads as long as their goals are met. Employee may even face threats of poor reviews if they try to switch portfolios, ai it could reflect poorly on the leads themselves. - HR is unlikely to offer genuine support: expect either empty promises or outright disregard. Many competent HR staff have been pushed out due to internal politics. - The company might pressure you into "voluntary resignation" under the pretense of performance issues. Management is pathetic and are very inefficient. Always spend time in strategy planning without any outcomes. Incompetent people have been hired and promoted to Head of Departments and are not deserving for the designation they have been hired. They call themselves as Venture Builder but most of the policies are those of a BPO. Dont have bench policy hence no Job secuirty.

Initially it was good to work with team on projects and RnD was independent which helped in actual learning

Currently the manager are not that much technically sound and only conducts meeting. Person who has good connection with management is safe even if he has 0 technical knowledge. Management 0/5 Culture... huh, no such entity exists, What else? Favouritism, Superb office politics, Don't know for what role they are hiring, ie. pilot hired for cabin crew's job. Job security: anytime you could get a HR call for a quick meeting, they could be your last 30 mins in the office. Nearly impossible to say why you are getting fired.
