Yes. Ofcourse. Being in a govt. sector give you job security. The perks are good. You get housing lon on concessional rate.

Dislikes

Since its a huge organization. So ofcourse the work culture depends on where you are posted. But being an IT Office, you do not get anything related to IT. You can anytime be posted as a GBO because there is not much IT related work.

Work Details

Work life balance is good if you are a clerk. But being an Officer is an offence here. You are judged by how much late you stay in office.
