Work culture is bad. And buying Citi Bank was the biggest mistake ever that Axis has done. Citi Bank customers are leaving, there's huge attrition in the Bank. There's no one to take care of the customers. Management is least interested in the ground reality.

Maybe the worst decision took by me working at Axis Bank. It might not be applicable for others. This is my personal opinion.

Disappointing Experience I had high hopes, but my time here was marred by a toxic work culture. The management prioritizes sycophancy over merit, making it clear that career growth is tied to appeasing those in power rather than delivering quality work. Freedom of speech is non-existent, and the focus is on securing business deals by any means necessary. This environment can erode your personal values and leave you vulnerable in difficult situations. The HR policy appears impressive at first glance, claiming that no employee will be terminated solely for business reasons. However, I've witnessed HR block attendance and coerce employees into resigning on orders from higher-ups. After merger of city bank , bank may be in loss hence looking for employee lay off , unnecessary sales presure . There is no good system like other bank for processing customer request and account opening, bank Working like 90's era , No redressal system, No one want to take responsibility.

As a brand no doubt its great experience but at branch label axis Bank given a n number of target and day by day service too worst condition .in branch supervisor support only one person not to other. There is too may political issues in every branch.

Leaders at cluster, circle and central office level has no vision. All day shouting on their subordinate and blaming for work not happening rather than giving training and support to improve productivity.

At senior level no vision. Chain of blaming subordinate starts from the top.

In Axis Bank the supervisor has the final word. He can keep whoever he wants and remove whomever he wants. HR has no value in Axis Bank. HR does as the supervisor tells it. In Axis Bank no opportunities are given to the employees. The employees do not even know when they are going to lose their job. In Axis Bank everything is in thehands of the supervisor. If you have any self respect or courtesy join a good bank not to join the bank where is no respect to junior employees. i suggest to my all friends to not work in axis, When they listen my concern they shocked to listen my points. So work in good bank culture in just like Hdfc bank kotak mahindra bank icici bank or more but never work in axis.....I am suggesting you guys.??????

Overall culture at Axis bank is truly really nice. Please consider this with grain of salt as it depends on the manager and your team members as well.

As stated above, what type of manager and team members you get decide how satisfied and fulfilled you will feel, currently neither my manager nor my team members are good. But I have WFH so it makes it easy.
