I had a experience to work with the worst reporting manager(Suresh karunakaran) in finance team ever in my career. He is Egoistic, Cunning, Shows partiality, Favouritism to his liked ones. My advise to the people reading my review is if you have an offer to join Aspire especially AR & Travel team please dont, As that would be your all time regret ever. And now about the management i would say its just OK. The workflow has a lot of hurdles - many projects do not have deployment pipelines, timesheet portal is sub optimal etc.

Good place to start your career. Everything would be fine as long as you keep things well with the upper management

Don't overstay your welcome and waste your potential. HR are absolutely the worst, won't listen or respond to any queries but would have all the time in the world to host mindless events. When things go wrong they go horribly wrong here. Effort will be recognised only if you go above and beyond your actual scope or if you're in great terms with your higher ups. I had a rough experience with my manager. Their mindset felt outdated. Our team was constantly micromanaged. We were also monitored during our breaks. Casual chats were not allowed between colleagues. Under my manager's supervision, I completely lost my confidence. I was frequently manipulated and gaslighted during work. For example, they constantly blew tiny issues out of proportion and disregarded our attempts to create a more organised and manageable workspace. As a result, my team members and I felt like we were walking on eggshells around them. I had an experience where my manager crossed personal boundaries in front of others (i.e. physically interacting with me in an uncomfortable way), which made me feel disrespected and unsettled. However, they brushed it off as 'being playful'. Our one-on-one sessions were unproductive and did not focus on proposing effective solutions, considering all my negative experiences, I was pushed to file an official complaint with HR. However, HR refused to offer a proper solution or accept my immediate reassignment of teams. Although I'd expressed my intention to speak separately with HR, I was made to reiterate the complaints in front of my manager. This was a very uncomfortable experience. Moreover, I'd repeatedly presented proof of my work during the complaint, However, the focus was shifted to my 'poor performance', which was never mentioned before this incident. Ultimately, HR told me that I wasn't 'strong enough' to handle a manager like them. My negative experience with the manager and HR exposed a significant institutional failure that continues to allow harmful behaviour in the workplace, leaving employees vulnerable to mistreatment by their direct supervisors. Lastly, I also learned that nine employees had quit the same team under the same manager's supervision in under a year. Like the previous employees, I also had to resign. Management is extremely good. Good hikes Good in terms of treating employees. Aspire celebrate their success with employees by giving them coupouns and bonus.
