7 yrs at amazon, i have come accross with managers who not only support learning and development but also support with all your ideas. Talking about work life balance, i might get a lot of heat but i have personally drawn a line which none of my stakeholders have crossed yet. They know when to push and when not to. I love it here.

Opportunity to work on a cutting-edge product in the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning domain. The facilities in the office (including the cafeteria) and the IT infrastructure.

NIL work-life balance as you are forced to be in late-night calls. Team members from the USA have too much attitude and are not ready to accept your meeting requests. They work as per their self-defined list of priorities. Although the job title is TPM here is nothing Technical in the role itself. Leadership HR are of no use even if you have issues and complain 100 times about your manager they take 0 actions and managers are not scared of HR in-fact they openly ask you to reach out to HR as if they have some kind of connection with them.

Training and learning period was good, there is no issue while taking leaves when you need it

Amazon has malfunction in its working tool which really bothered not only me but other candidates also throughout last year, it really impacted our productivity and it made customer's experience worae

The office infrastructure is better than other. However, now a days start up are more fancier than Amazon.

The work culture is declining year over year. Management is focusing on quantity than quality. It is good to have a competitive work culture but there is no recognition no matter how much you give in. The expectation is to work for long working hours without any extra pay.

There are some teams in Amazon which are just a resemblance of hell. They will have rotational shifts and and rotational week offs, apart from these two factors, mandatory nights for 10 days in two months. Due to some morons, for their growth they come up with ridiculous challenges and will torture us for attaining it.

Not much growth opportunities and salary is very low for experienced employees which is equivalent to a fresher getting a job for first time. Pay package is way down below here compared to what is a normal or decent pay package in market in current times. Extending work hours is necessary to meet productivity and competition is very high which eventually leads to bad team politics
